A good course image is critical to a course's success. It should grab the attention of the viewer and help them understand the essence of what the course has to offer. Following these simple guidelines will ensure that your course image is effective and impactful.
Please note: to avoid confusion, each REPTO course must have its own, unique image. The same image cannot be used for more than one course.
Image Specifications
Always design your master course image at the following pixel dimensions. The main design needs to live within the content safe area for maximum visibility.
- Minimum required dimensions: 750 x 422 pixels
- Maximum required dimensions: none
- File format must be .png
- We recommend using the RGB color model while creating your course image, and not the CMYK color mode, since it is designed for computer screens and electronic devices

Mobile Crop Area
Every course image will be cropped for the REPTO mobile view. The cropped view should communicate the course concept as clearly as the uncropped view.

Relevance
A good course image enables the viewer to predict what the course is about. Make sure that the image relates directly to the course content and is tonally appropriate.
Use of Text
Do not include textual information or the name of the course within the image. You may use text in an iconic way such as a logo or product name related to the course. The image should have a main focus in the center, and the title should not overlay the photo and make the layout muddy.
Stock Photography
Stock photography can often feel staged, cold, or inauthentic. Only use stock images that feel natural and are high quality.
Specify and Simplify
One of the most important factors of a successful course image is simplicity. Use familiar visual concepts that communicate the course idea clearly. Try to feature iconic elements that capture the essence of the course in a simple, unique way.
Limit the number of visual elements and detail to drive better comprehension. Too many unique elements and too much visual detail will compete for attention and create confusion.
Color and Contrast
Use colors that compliment one another and work well together. Opposite colors (red and green for example) can clash and cause visual vibration. Make sure there is enough contrast between the subject and background to ensure legibility.
Single Point of Focus
Incorporate a central point of focus in your images to draw viewers in.
Resolution
Images should be clear and non-pixelated.
Use of Illustration
Illustrations should be iconic and elemental rather than detailed or cartoony.
Foreground & Background
Only use background images/patterns if they enhance or add to the comprehension of the course concept rather than repeating it.
Production
Avoid applying multiple visual effects or textures to your image.
REPTO - Branding and the Use of Logo
You can not use your own logo in the course feature image and you must add REPTO Logo(White or REPTO Green(#3cb371) with very good visibility) like the image bellow.

একটি ভালো কোর্স ইমেইজ কোর্সের সাফল্যের জন্য সমালোচনামূলক । এটা দর্শকদের মনোযোগ আকর্ষন করা উচিৎ এবং কোর্সে কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছে তা বোঝােতে সাহায্য করে। এই সহজ গাইডলাইন অনুসরন করলে আপনার কোর্সের ইমেইজ কতটুকু কার্যকর এবং প্রভাব পরবে তা নিশ্চিত করবে।
অনুগ্রহ করে নোট করবেন: কনফিউশন এড়ানোর জন্য, প্রতিটি কোর্সের জন্য নিজস্ব এবং ইউনিক ইমেইজ থাকতে হবে। একই ইমেইজ একাধিক কোর্সের জন্য ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।
ইমেইজের ধরন
নিচের পিক্সেল দিকনির্দেশনার মাধ্যমে সবসময় আপনার মাস্টার কোর্সের ইমেইজ ডিজাইন করুন। কোর্সের সর্বাধিক দৃশ্যমানতা বজায় রাখতে মেইন ডিজাইনটির কন্টেন্ট নিরাপদে থাকাটা জরুরি।

প্রাসঙ্গিকতা
একটি ভাল কোর্সের ইমেইজ কোর্সের বিষয়ে দর্শক কে ধারণা অথবা পূর্বাভাষ দিতে সক্ষম। এবং সে জন্যই কোর্সের কন্টেন্টের সাথে কোর্স ইমেইজের সামঞ্জস্য প্রয়োজন।
টেক্সটের ব্যবহার
কোর্সের ইমেইজের মধ্যে টেক্সের ব্যবহার বা কোর্সের নাম লিখা যাবে না। আপনি একটি চিহ্নের সাহায্যে টেক্সট ব্যবহার করতে পারেন যেমন কোর্স সংক্রান্ত একটি লোগো অথবা পন্যের নাম। কোর্সের ইমেইজকে প্রাধান্য দিতে হবে, এবং টাইটেল কোনোভাবেই ইমেইজের উপর দেয়া যাবে না এবং আপনার পরিকল্পনা বা লেয়াউট টি বিশৃঙ্খল রাখা যাবে না।

স্টক ফোটোগ্রাফি প্রায়ই সময়ে দেখতে সাজানো, নকল এবং অসম্পূর্ন লাগে। শুধুমাত্র দেখতে ন্যাচারাল এবং হাই কোয়ালিটির স্টক ইমেইজ ব্যবহার করুন।
নির্দিষ্ট এবং সহজতর করুন
একটি সফল কোর্স ইমেইজ হওয়ার সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারন হলো ইমেইজটি সহজতর হওয়া। পরিচিতি ইমেইজ ব্যবহার করুন যা কোর্সটি সম্পর্কে চাক্ষুষ ধারনা দিতে পারে। এমন প্রতীকী চিহ্ন ব্যবহার করতে পারেন যা কোর্সটির সম্পর্কে একটি সহজ এবং একক ধারনা দিতে পারে।
অতিরিক্ত চাক্ষুষ উপাদান ব্যবহার করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন। এতে করে কোর্সের উপর থেকে মনোযোগ সরবে না ও বিভ্রান্তিকর পরিস্থিতি হবে না।
কালার এবং কনট্রাস্ট
শুধুমাএ সেই কালার কমবিনেশন ব্যবহার করবেন যেটিতে সুন্দর সামঞ্জস্য থাকে। অসামঞ্জস্য কালার ব্যবহারে মানসম্পূর্ন হয় না। সুস্পষ্টতা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য বিষয় এবং পটভূমি মধ্যে যথেষ্ট বিপরীতে আছে তা নিশ্চিত করুন।

আপনার কোর্সের ইমেইজ একটি একক ফোকাস পয়েন্ট নির্ধারন করে যা দর্শকদের মনোযোগ আকর্ষন করে।

ইমেইজটি পরিষ্কার এবং non-pixelated হতে হবে।
ইলাস্ট্রেশনের ব্যবহার
ইলাস্ট্রেশন আইকনিক এবং প্রাথমিক হতে হবে কোনো প্রকার বিবরণী বা কার্টুন ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।

শুধুমাত্র সেইসব ব্যাকগ্রউন্ড ইমেইজ / প্যাটার্ন্স ব্যবহার করুন যেটি আপনার কোর্সের একটি সহজ ধারনা দিতে পারে।
প্রোডাকশন
ম্যাল্টিপল ভিসুয়্যাল এফ্যাক্ট বা টেক্সচার ব্যবহার করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন।
